Terms of use

These terms apply to everyone who plays Plankway on plankway.com or through the installed app. By using Plankway, you agree to them.

Who we are

Plankway is offered by Mathieu De Keyser, Duffelsesteenweg 55, 2550 Kontich, Antwerpen, België (company number BE 1040.500.093). Contact: info@dekeyserwebdesign.com.

The game

Plankway is free and paid for by advertising. You don’t need an account to play.

We do our best to keep Plankway available and free of errors, but we can’t guarantee it. We may change, pause or end the game, for example for maintenance or new features.

Your profile and account

• Plankway automatically creates an anonymous profile to keep your results and streak. Your recovery code lets you continue that profile on another device; keep it safe yourself.
• You can optionally sign in with Google. You remain responsible for access to that Google account.
• A name you choose is visible to other players (for example on leaderboards). Don’t pick a name that is offensive, discriminatory, misleading or someone else’s.
• With your friend code, someone can add you as a friend. Only share it with people you want to; you can always make a new one and remove friends.
• You can delete your profile and all your data at any time via Profile → Delete my data.

Fair play

Plankway is fun because everyone solves the same puzzles the same way. That’s why you may not:

• fake results or times, or mislead the server about how or when you solved a puzzle;
• use bots, scripts or automatic solvers to submit results;
• overload the servers, get around security measures, or collect puzzles and data automatically in bulk;
• disrupt the game or other players in any other way.

In case of abuse we may remove results from leaderboards, change or remove a name, and in serious cases block or delete a profile or account.

Ownership

The game, the puzzles, the design, the images and the texts of Plankway are ours or used with permission. You may play Plankway for personal, non-commercial use.

Sharing your result with the share button is always fine. Copying puzzles to offer them elsewhere, or cloning the game, is not allowed without our written permission.

Ads and other services

Plankway shows ads from Google AdSense and lets you optionally sign in with Google. Google’s own terms and privacy policy also apply to those services. We are not responsible for the content of ads or of the websites they lead to.

Liability

Plankway is offered as is. As far as the law allows, we are not liable for damage caused by using Plankway or by it being temporarily unavailable, nor for lost progress, streaks or results. This never limits your rights as a consumer and does not apply in case of intent or gross negligence.

Age

Everyone may play Plankway. To sign in with an account you must be at least 13, or have permission from a parent or guardian.

Changes

We may change these terms, for example when we add new features. The date at the bottom shows the last change. We’ll let you know in the game about important changes.

Governing law

These terms are governed by Belgian law. Disputes go to the competent courts of Antwerp, unless the law gives you as a consumer the right to go to the court where you live. If there’s a problem, please contact us first at info@dekeyserwebdesign.com; together we usually find a solution quickly.
